I'm a writer, historian and gourmet chef whose day job is practicing law.
David Trimble is an attorney in private practice as a litigator in Lexington, KY. He is married to Corinne and together they have two grown daughters, four dogs (three boxers Pandora, Titan, and Apollo and a dachshund Magnolia), two cats, and two Tennessee Walking Horses, Rhett Butler and Shadow. Corinne is a paralegal in the Kentucky Attorney General's office and a certified wildlife rehabilitator.
In their free(?) time, David and Corinne are Civil War reenactors with the 4th Kentucky Cavalry (US/CS) and occasionally portray a collateral ancestor, Maj. Gen. Isaac Ridgeway Trimble (CSA) and his wife Anne, as members of Lee's Lieutenants - Headquarters, Army of Northern Virginia, http://www.leeslieutenants.com/.
David is currently launching another career as an author of fiction and has recently debuted his first novel, LEST YE BE JUDGED, which is a murder mystery set against the backdrop of the turmoil in the modern Episcopal Church. Those who have seen the manuscript are already calling it a "page-turner". He also writes a weekly column for the Georgetown News-Graphic, which will be part of the content of this blog.
Set against the backdrop of the theological and political turmoil plaguing the modern Episcopal Church, Lest Ye Be Judged is a compelling page-turner that escalates the tension all the way through the final page.
David also loves to cook and with his son-in-law has launched a new catering niche business called Dinner for Eight. Check out their offerings at http://home.bellsouth.net/p/PWP-D48 .
